Tuff and sleek December 4, 2004 D. Gibson (U.S. Military) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Simply the best utility knife I have ever used. Changing blades requires no tools and takes about 8 seconds with extra blades cleverly located in the handle. Tough, durable well made chasis can handle daily abuse. The folding lock-back feature makes it very compact and with the attached belt clip this knife is an easy light weight all day carry.
Quick change/storage razor knife February 28, 2010 Charles R. Dover Jr. 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Scheffield created this knife a few years ago and I learned to like it. The later models work similarly but have one flaw. The blade comes out if you hold it normally for hard/deep cuts. because of the design of this model you don't have that worry. I ordered several to put in my office to have when the crew steals mine. Yes they want it that badly!!
Storage is at your finger tips and changing blades is fast and easy. I use the old screw type-changing knives to beat on and loan out. They are basically historic relics of the past that are used for abuse and for workers that loose or don't respect quality tools.
I use this type knife many times a day and it always works perfectly...
Best utility knife ever April 15, 2006 astaats2 (KS United States) I bought the original Sheffield knife because I needed one with a blade that doesn't wiggle back & forth when cutting. It was great except having to go back down the ladder to get a new blade. I got one of these for Christmas last year. I've used it for over a year & it has held up very well.
Love it! June 10, 2007 Carise (Phx) Bought this for a friend as a surprise and found out that she already had one. So I kept it. OH MY GAWWWD!! It is THE perfect utility knife. It feels great in your hand. The grip is firm but with a little give so you don't get blisters during those box-cutting frenzies. It holds the blades inside and changing blades is a snap! I've never seen anything like it.
terrific September 17, 2007 Donald A. Brodzik Great utility knife. Very study. Blade easy to replace, no tools required. No locking screws to come loose. Spare blades in handle Round pressue disk on top of blade.Just an outstanding design all around.
