These are the highest quality goggles I have ever bought for such a good price.
WOW! March 13, 2009 Trink (Tucson, AZ USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I only use these as sunglasses. They are absolutely amazing! They're dark and comfortable; and also easy to disassemble. There are two different lenses on each side: One clear and one dark green.
I absolutely loves these!
Essential for steampunk May 13, 2009 J. L. Helmsley 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
I ordered these two days ago and they arrived about an hour ago. They are absolutely essential to anyone putting together a steampunk look! The price is right, the delivery time is phenomenal, and the product looks even better in real life than in the photo.
Good quality goggles April 7, 2009 Adam Coath (Seattle, WA USA) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought these from Amazon to use a part of a costume and was very pleased with them. Both the clear and dark green lenses can be easily swapped out. The dark lenses have writing on them but if turned inwards it is not visible. They are easily adjustable and fit my face well, but being hard plastic can get a little uncomfortable after wearing for a while.
I painted them, replaced the nose piece with a spring, replaced the strap with a leather one, and bolted some metal bits on the vents to give them a steampunk look.
Great set of goggles at a great price! May 21, 2010 S. Ferebee (DFW, TX) I got these goggles on sale for about 7 or 8 bucks and they are completely worth it. I think everyone knows what goggles are so I'll outline what I think is different about these goggles than others.
First they are made of hard plastic all around. I've seen some that are made of like a flimsy rubber plastic and these are much more durable.
Second, these goggles have a vent on the side of each eye piece that allow for ventilation and greatly reduce if not eliminate all together the goggles fogging up during use.
Third, there are two sets of lenses. A set of thin clear plastic lenses over thicker glass lenses which provide the tinting for welding and cutting. If you are going to use these for general purpose shop work, then I suggest you manufacture your own clear lenses out of lexan or something similar, as the clear lenses it comes with won't protect your eyes from any sizable flying debris.
Overall I'm very satisfied with them!
